Join illustrator Jo Bird for an evening of fashion drawing at St Michael’s Manor Hotel in St Albans.
Working from a live fashion model, you’ll explore fashion illustration through a series of short and long poses, with two outfit changes throughout the session. It’s a chance to capture movement, shape, silhouette and style while developing your own approach to fashion drawing.
The session is self-guided, giving you the freedom to work at your own pace and experiment with your materials and style. It’s particularly suited to those with an interest in fashion and some previous drawing experience.
You’re welcome to bring your own sketchbook, drawing materials and easel. Alternatively, A3 paper, drawing boards and a selection of drawing materials will be available on the evening.

Jo Bird is a live fashion illustrator with over 10 years experience of working at home and abroad for a dazzling list of brands and companies.
